Limb AI Chatbot 1.0.10 is here with a big focus on conversation quality, AI flexibility, and everyday UX. This release introduces real-time streaming replies, full Claude (Anthropic) support, a new URL knowledge source type, and several improvements to both the chat experience and admin interface.
Streaming, word-by-word AI replies
Your AI Agent now replies in real time with streaming responses. Instead of waiting for a full answer to finish, visitors see the message appear word by word—especially powerful when the “short answers” setting is disabled and the AI needs to respond in more detail. This makes conversations feel faster, more natural, and closer to live chat.
Claude (Anthropic) support with 8 models
Version 1.0.10 adds native support for Claude (Anthropic) as an AI provider, giving you even more flexibility in how you design your AI stack. You can choose from 8 Claude models, including Claude Sonnet 4.5, Claude Haiku 4.5, Claude Opus 4.5, Claude Opus 4.1, Claude Sonnet 4.0, Claude Opus 4.0, and Claude 3 Haiku. This makes it easier to match the right model to your use case, budget, and tone of voice.
New URL source type for knowledge collection
Training your chatbot on external content is now simpler than ever. The new URL source type lets you paste any webpage URL, click Learn, and have Limb AI Chatbot fetch and process the content for knowledge collection. This works alongside your existing knowledge sources (posts, pages, PDFs, text, etc.) to give your AI Agent a richer, more complete understanding of your business.
More engaging and readable chat experience
This release also includes several small but important UX improvements inside the chat interface:
- Unseen messages badge near the chatbot icon, showing unread message counts (configurable in Appearance settings).
- Show/hide AI Agent avatar toggle so you can match the UI to your brand and layout.
- Scroll down arrow inside the chat to help users quickly jump back to the latest messages.
- Improved scrolling behavior so user messages jump to the top once submitted, giving AI replies more room and making longer answers easier to read on all screen sizes.
Together, these changes make conversations feel cleaner, easier to follow, and more inviting for visitors.
Polished admin experience
We’ve also made multiple admin UI enhancements to keep the dashboard intuitive as the feature set grows. Settings are easier to understand at a glance, and the overall management of your chatbots continues to align with Limb’s goal: powerful, enterprise-level AI inside a native WordPress experience.
