Installing the Plugin

Limb AI Chatbot can be installed on your WordPress site in two ways: uploading the plugin file directly or installing it from the WordPress Plugin Directory.

Method 1: Upload Plugin File

If you have the plugin ZIP file, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard
  2. Navigate to Plugins → Add Plugin
  3. Click the Upload Plugin button at the top
  4. Click Choose File and select the plugin ZIP file from your computer
  5. Click Install Now
  6. Once the installation completes, click Activate

Method 2: Install from WordPress Plugin Directory

To install directly from the WordPress repository:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard
  2. Navigate to Plugins → Add Plugin
  3. In the search box, type “Limb Chatbot” or “Limb AI Chatbot”
  4. Locate the plugin in the search results
  5. Click the Install Now button
  6. Once installation completes, click Activate

How do I install PRO?

If you have the PRO plugin ZIP from your purchase, install it the same way as in Method 1: Upload Plugin File above: go to Plugins → Add Plugin, click Upload Plugin, choose your ZIP file, then Install Now. When installation finishes, click Activate. The ZIP is provided after you purchase PRO.

If the free plugin is already installed, activating PRO deactivates the free version automatically so only one runs at a time.

What Happens After Activation

After activating the plugin, you’ll see a new Chatbot menu item in your WordPress dashboard sidebar. This is where you’ll configure and manage your AI chatbot.
