Widgets
Widgets add shortcuts, promos, and actions around the chatbot so visitors can start faster, see important content, and finish tasks without leaving the conversation. Manage them in the WordPress admin under Chatbot → Widgets—that screen is where you choose placements, add or remove widget cards, set order, and control visibility.
Each widget can appear in one or more placements:
- Home screen — the main grid before a chat starts
- Above the launcher — the strip near the floating launcher icon
- Inside the chat screen — the active conversation view

Adding a widget
In the main content area, click Add Widget. A popup lists the widget types available for the active placement—Home screen, Above the launcher, or Inside the chat screen—depending on which placement is selected.

Disabling a widget
To turn a widget off without removing it, hover its card and use the enable / disable toggle. You can switch it back on the same way.

Removing a widget
Hover a widget card. A Remove button appears; click it to delete that widget.

Reorder widgets
Use drag-and-drop: grab a widget card and move it to the slot you want within the active placement. When you are finished, click Save as usual.
Each widget type in the catalog below lists the placements it supports.

Widget types
Home Header
Placements: Home screen only. Lets you set the general logo, company name, AI avatar icon, and (when using Live Agent) live-agent avatars in the header. On Free, the logo can be a generated monogram based on the company name. PRO adds image upload and custom SVG for the logo. Live Agent itself is a PRO feature.

Greeting Message
Placements: Home screen only. Greets the visitor. Supports a fixed greeting or different messages by time of day. Most text you need can go in the greeting field.

Start Chat button
Placements: Home screen only. Call-to-action that starts a new chat. The button label is customizable.

Availability Badge
Placements: Home screen only. Shows availability or status. The AI chatbot is always on; the badge still offers two lines of text next to the green active indicator.
Recent Conversations
Placements: Home screen only. Lets visitors reopen recent chats from the home screen.

Suggested Prompts
Placements: Home screen, above the launcher, and inside the chat screen. Shows quick-prompt chips as conversation starters. Each chip has a label and the message that is sent to the assistant.

Quick Links
Placements: Home screen only. Adds important links on the home screen. Set a label and URL for each link.

Woo: Recommended Products (PRO)
Placements: Home screen and above the launcher. Shows a product list. Filter by rules (for example sales or top-rated) or pick products manually.

Featured Content (PRO)
Placements: Home screen only. Highlights important content. Choose a custom post type (CPT), then show the latest entries or hand-pick items. Up to six items.
Welcome Message
Placements: Above the launcher and inside the chat screen (not on the home screen). Messages shown as the assistant.

Form
Placements: Above the launcher and inside the chat screen. Surfaces a form in those areas. Create forms under Chatbot → Forms and set their type to widget so they appear in this widget’s picker. You can require the form before the visitor is allowed to chat with the AI.

Banner (PRO)
Placements: Above the launcher only. Needs an image, title, and description. Add the image from the WordPress media library or paste a public image URL. Clicking the banner can open a URL or send a message into the chat—useful for announcements.

Woo: Abandoned Cart (PRO)
Placements: Above the launcher only. Quick to configure: set the title, button label, and button link in the widget panel. It lists items currently in the cart. It starts as a compact cart hint beside the launcher; clicking expands the full list. The button opens a URL (checkout by default; you can change it).
Visibility & ordering
Every widget has a visibility setting, similar to knowledge items. You can show different widgets to different audiences: Visitors, Contacts, and specific WordPress roles. After changing visibility or order, click Save to apply.
