Customers
The Customers area is where you review people who interact with your chatbots. Work from Visitors, Contacts, and saved segments produced by the segmentation tool’s advanced filtering.
Visitors
Visitors have used the assistant but do not yet have a full contact record tied to submitted form data.
The table can include IP address, location, device, browser, a linked WordPress user when applicable, and created time. Narrow results with search (including by IP), a date range, and column visibility.
Contacts
Contacts are profiles built from data you collect—most often through forms (static or conversational). Fields you map from those forms show up as table columns, with values stored on each contact when it was captured.
How new columns and mapping changes relate to contacts that were already stored is covered in the Forms article (contact column mapping).
You can adjust which columns appear, filter (for example, by email domain), and open a row for details in the side panel. Example: show contacts where email contains @yahoo.com.
Segments
In the segmentation tool, define advanced filters on your contacts and save the result as a segment. Filters combine conditions on the columns and metadata your Contacts table exposes (mapped fields, dates, and anything else available in your setup). Saved segments appear as their own views (for example, additional tabs) next to Visitors and Contacts.
